The fact that Hawai'i was never annexed to the U.S. alone says alot about Hawai'i. Yet, growing up in Hawai'i we are brain washed and bullied into thinking that we are Americans. I like being who I am, a Hawaiian with a better understanding of what is here and who I am, that gives me the confidence to do my own work without "the government" while the laws are prevelant, we will go with that until the U.S. ends it's illegal U.S. Occupation in Hawai'i and clean up their messes before they remove American laws from Hawaiian lands.

Sovereign in the sense of laws. In this case who's law? American or Hawaiian? We contend that it is Hawaiian and that it is that which needs to be removed (American laws) and replaced with Hawaiians laws as it mainly pretains to the aina which is, Hawaiian as in native tenants and all the rights that go with that for every Hawaiians (blood) born in Hawai'i, while the other races born in Hawai'i would be considered Native Hawaiians because of their status being foreign and or, aliens from other countries as well as Americans who are not aware of the historical ramifications that will expose the U.S. for it's prolonged illegal U.S. military occupation of Hawai'i. The occupation disenfranchised Hawaiians from their land. You can see that in Waikiki, Lahaina, Hana, Hilo, Kona, Kilauea-Kauai, and every nook and cranny filled with military, homeless and foreigners who outnumber the Hawaiians. Hawaiians on the other hand know that Hawai'i was never annexed to the U.S. and that they must heal their hearts in order to do the right thing for America and not themselves. Hawaiians want to be left alone to care for their own lands, people and environment. Too many people come to Hawai'i for the wrong reasons. We want people to come t Hawai'i to hear our message and to tell your government to honor their treaty with the Hawaiian Kingdom and that resolution to the Hawaiian question in a good way will give the U.S. the help they need. Anyway, it's a long story. Mahalo and Aloha, RKKanui

A first step to gaining true sovereignty is to create a new currency. This is legal under u.s. law. So i hope your drive to create the new gold and silver coins will continue. Also check under "alternative currency" in the internet. There''s tons of info on how to create a community currency and how this strengthens sovereignty and local power.

Wow. Bravo on such an informative site. I knew the history of the Hawaii statehood was not necessarily pretty, but this is indeed an eye opener. I've enjoyed coming to your beautiful islands many times, and I wish you the best of luck in reclaiming what is rightfully yours.
